Analysis of Rap as a Music Genre

Within the post-modern society in which we live, many different genres of music have merged together. Knowing that I wanted to create a music video which was based around RnB/Hip Hop, I did further research into the Rap genre. This was because, within these two genres, rap has become incorporated into to this type of music. For example, many RnB songs today feature rap artists, such as Nicki Minaj. By doing this research, it enabled me to choose from a wider range songs when making my final product.
